Sir,

You know I got your back. But I went ahead and placed explosives along the top of the passenger deck, just in case. I set the timers for two hours, just to make sure we had enough time to stop them if it – you know – in case it becomes necessary. But sir, I don’t think it will. I Have to tell you something, and it may seem crazy, but just bear with me, okay? So – I was talking to Sergeant Angleton, then turned real fast to see what some weird, leaking noise was ahead of us in the corridor was, then, when I turned around again, sergeant Angleton wasn’t standing there anymore – Sergeant Brookes was. I’m kind of confused sir.

I have Sergeant Brookes tied down, under armed guard. Sir, please check on Sergeant Brooks and let me know if she’s there. If she is, I don’t know who this fucker is. But, if my hunch is right, she may be the cause of this whole thing. I asked her what the fuck she was doing there, and where is Sergeant Angleton. You know what she asked me in response, sir? “Where’s my Annie Love.” Who the actual fuck is Annie, sir?

Anyways, I set plasma charges in the cargo deck and they’ve already gone off, so…hope you weren’t counting on those supplies to get us to Gliese. The Good news, if we all go into stasis, we’ll be able to make it, no problem. I’m not trying to force you hand, sir – just trying to make sure our crew makes it to Gliese alive. Please check out the Sergeant Brooke situation, sir. I’m a little nervous, sir – especially with the way this bitch is staring at me. If this truly is Sergeant Brooke, she’ll need some very deep counseling. If not, I’d love to know – so I can BBQ the bitch.

Commander Reynolds, out.

Roger, Commander.

Understood about the Cargo-Deck. Check also on Sergeant Brooke. She wasn’t in Medical Bay when we found the Doctor, so chances are good it’s really her. Just keep an eye on her, let me know as things develop. I’ve made the decision not to leave the Bridge. You’ve down in the lower decks, and if things turn even worse, a senior officer needs to be available to make hard decisions. I’m sure you understand.

Do me a favor,

Wait in the passenger area for ten more minutes before you seal the deck. I want as much data on what’s going on with those passengers as possible.

Of course, I know you’re just doing what you think is right for the crew. You’re a good officer. It’s why I chose you for this voyage.

Let me know if anything new develops.

CPT Dubois, out.

Sir!

We’re blowing the deck!

I understood your instructions, but this bitch just wolfed out right before my eyes. And I don’t mean the bitch got angry, sir. I mean, she turned into an actual woman-wolf-like – thing! We’re blowing this level now, sir. You can courts Martial me later if you want to. Sir. This is one decision I just had to make on my own. Anyways, sir. I’ll explain it to you when I get up to the Bridge. No time now.

Commander Reynolds, out.

Serious Incident Report (SIR)

INCIDENT TYPE: Loss of First Mate

INPUTTED BY: Captain William Dubois

DATE: 02 FEB 2235

TIME: 15:38 Earth Time (U.S.) (EST)

Situation: Commander Reynolds

Commander Reynolds decided on his own to not only blow the Cargo-Bay, but to set charges on the Passenger Deck as well. I don’t need to relay to you folks the dangerous position I’m in, with my First Officer running amok – and doing whatever he decides is best. This goes against everything the military stands for.

I’ve hereby relieved him from duty. Effective Date – 021539FEB2235

I’ll do my best to salvage the passenger deck, but I can’t make any promises. Commander Reynolds has most of the crew on his side, so it will not be easy. If I can take him out of the equation, I will. As far as I can see, it may be the only way to maintain good discipline and order among the ranks.

We’ve already lost our food supply, forcing me to put the rest of the residence of Demeter into stasis within thirty-six hours, or risk half of them starving to death. This can be attributed to the decision that Commander Reynolds made.

As far as the gibberish he was going on about Sergeant Goode. It’s all rubbish. He’s right here next to me and is as healthy as ever.

Response:

Commander Reynolds will be locked below deck, as to ensure he cannot endanger any more of the crew,

Passengers are considered a loss at this point.

Respectfully,

Commander Reynolds.

Sir,

Something’s gone wrong.

The werewolf-Goode, thingy escaped us and hid among some protruding air pipes. She could be anywhere on the deck by now. We tried to open the hatch – to escape. But it appears to have been sealed shut. We’re going to have to blow the hatch, sir. That means that the entire lev el above the passenger deck will have to be lost as well. As you know, once we blow a hatch, there’s no closing it again.

Any idea who this, Annie person is the creature was referring to, sir? I guess that question will hold until I get to the Bridge and we can meet face to face.

Anyway,

We’re blowing the door now, sir.

Hopefully, I’ll see you in a few minutes. If not – tell my family I love them.

Commander Reynolds, out.
